Fans of this cult favorite know how central the team of special effects artist were in shaping the fantastic universe of monsters and supernatural happenings. To realize his vision director Dekker sought the help of the Stan Winston Studio. Founded by the legendary Stan Winston (April 7, 1946 – June 15, 2008), the Stan Winston Studio was home to some of Hollywood’s most talented designers, painters, and technicians–not to mention some of its most memorable monsters. For over three decades Winston, winner of four competitive Academy Awards, worked on films like The Terminator series, Jurassic Park, Aliens, Predator I and II, and Edward Scissorhands.
