Our theme of the month, Defiance, continues with Breaking Glass (1980).
Hazel O’Connor and this neon-drab palette sit somewhere between punk and new wave in the rags-to-riches music story Breaking Glass. The lighting and costuming of the film are key to its atmospheric portrayal of England in the late 1970s.
Breaking Glass is available on DVD and Blu-ray.
