Our October theme of the month, Bump in the Night: Horror Tropes, continues with Cauldron of Blood (1970).
In this partially animated sequence, a sunbathing woman transforms into a skeleton, which breaks apart to form the title. These opening credits seem to be paying homage to iconic title sequences by Saul Bass, such as Psycho.
You can take home Cauldron of Blood on DVD and Blu-ray.
